I saw that blowing into the slot helps to remove dust off of a lens in there, which is what I did. I went searching around various places across the internet for a solution. Nero then gave me the option to save the error report, which I did and I am attaching it here. Then when I tried burning my second CD I thought it was going fine because the progress completed to 100% and then at the last possible instant an error message appeared in the log saying that a 'Power Calibration Error' occured and that the burn process had failed. I was trying to burn a data CD and one CD burned fine.
I have a Windows XP computer and I have Nero StartSmart loaded on it and a CD/DVD burner.
